Frequently asked questions
Which cubemap layouts are supported?
Horizontal cross (4×3), horizontal strip (6×1) and vertical strip (1×6) in px, nx, py, ny, pz, nz order, plus six separate files.
My result looks rotated or has mismatched edges. Why?
Engines disagree on face orientation. This tool uses the OpenGL / Three.js convention. If your faces came from another tool, try swapping the left and right faces or rotating the top and bottom.
What output width should I use?
Four times the face width — for 1024px faces, a 4096 × 2048 panorama.
